Advertising Idiots
CBS IS THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!
I don't even know where to start, but here goes.

Is anyone out there as sick of all the ads on TV as I am? I remember when (ok, I'm telling my age) the
show took up most of the time, and not the ads. I think it has gotten totally out of control. It seems that the broadcasting companies are getting greedy. Not only that, but the ads, for the most part, are assuming we are all idiots. There are precious few that I don't feel insulted by, and even fewer that make me laugh or consider buying the product. And can they please stop showing ads targeted at hygene and impotence and other one-sex products?

But this is still the worst. 'The
Nextel Halftime Show is brought to you by NextelI HATE THAT! And I hate almost as much the four-spot mini ads reserved for sporting events, and the 'reminder' plugs for upcoming shows during them.

I have digital cable. In other words, I pay a good bit of money for more channels and an on-screen show guide and info. Now they have satellite radio with no ads, why can't they do that for TV? Oh, sure, there are channels that have no ads, but not very many, and they are usually premium channels (ones you have to pay extra for, like pay-per-view). We work hard for our money, why can't we enjoy ad-free TV? It's like tele-marketers calling during dinner. I joined a no-call list to get rid of that annoyance. How about a no-ad list? Or a no-ad service? Just a thought.
