Ok, there isn't much I can say about this. Mainly, I wonder why kids aren't learning how to read and do math, the most basic things people need to get by in life. What has happened to our education system? How are these kids skating through? Shouldn't they be kept back if they don't perform up to a standard? Are our standards too low? What's up with that? I don't know about anyone else, but I want to live in a country that has the brightest and the best, and we used to be that country, but now I'm not sure. One thing I suspect though, is that the dumbing down is in part responsible for all the other gripes I have expressed on this site. Anyway, that's about all I have to say at this point, but don't be suprised if I think of something else soon. |
