Super Saiya-jin Trunks

Trunks manages to achieve two of the 7 forms of Saiyan Transformation. He has no tail which automatically excludes him from being able to achieve the Oozaru form. However he trains with Gohan to be able to go SSJ and then later on Earth he ascends further.

SUPER SAIYA-JIN FORM After the death of Gohan, his friend, master and hero Trunks's anger finally reaches the point which sparks the transformation of SSJ (Right). His power grows drastically but it isn't until three years later that we see him in action as a SSJ against the hated Androids. Super Saiya-jin provided him the power to realistically take on the Androids and hopefully defeat them a battle would take place that would convince him other wise. Three years after first going SSJ an epic battle occurs, Trunks doesn't stand a chance.His defeat during this battle was quick and simple, his lack of battle experience meant he was open to attack. The Androids beat him to a pulp before finally leaving him for dead.  In order to develop his skills he knows he must journey through time to learn more skills and help save the past from his world's destiny...

Trunks travels back to three years before the death of Goku awaiting the arrival of the legendary warrior he has to defeat Frieza and King Cold first. His victory is short and sweet as he manages to defeat both without much effort. Trunks finally has a measure with which to gauge his skills, he returns to his time to commence his training. It is unknown how long he trained for but upon his return to Goku's time his strength and skills were far more developed. In order to test Goku's allegiance he begins to attack him with his sword (Left). Satisfied with the results he returns to his time. He decides that once the three years has past he can return and aid them against the Androids. What he doesn't expect is the fact that his time travelling would change the Androids and introduce a greater threat. Cell! Ascension was required and quickly. In order to beat Cell the warriors trained in the Room of Spirit and Time. Where ascension finally became possible. A whole new level of super Saiya-jin was possible: USSJ...

ULTRA SUPER SAIYA-JIN Trunks trains for the first time with his Father, Vegeta, in the Room of Spirit and Time. The rooms strange physics provides a years worth of training in just a single day. Knowing he must develop his skills and prove himself to his father. Trunks manages to ascend to the next level, USSJ (Right), and for a short while his power exceeds that of his fathers. His lack of fighting skills soon become clear as he is beaten by Cell. Cell in his imperfect form was no match for Vegeta in USSJ form. Vegeta however wanted a test and allowed Cell to become perfect. Cell absorbs 17 and finally becomes even stronger than USSJ and with all of the advantages SSJ provides.
