Andromeda
Andromeda is the Princess of Ethiopia.  She is the daughter of King Cephesus and Queen Cassiopia.  The Princess and Queen was gifted with exceptionally good looks.  Being as vain as she is, Cassiopeia had to go boasting about her and her daughter's good looks.  Cassiopeia boasted that she and her daughter was more beutiful than the Nereids, who are beutiful sea goddesses.  Poseidon was not happy when he heard these boasts, he sent a sea monster and a gigantic flood to Cephesus' kingdom.  Cephesus was instructed by the oracle of ammon to chain Andromeda to a rock as an offering to Cetus the Sea Monster.  While Perseus was flying back from his journey, (the one who slayed Medusa) he saw Andromeda and was overwhelmed by her beauty.  Perseus rescued Andromeda and killed Cetus.  Casssiopeia and Cephesus gratefully agreed to give Adromeda to Perseus in marriage.  They had a wonderful wedding.  But during the reception Andromeda's bethrothed arrived.  Andromeda's bethrothed is the brother of Cephesus, Phineus.  Phineus declared that Andromeda be brought back to him, but King Cephesus disagreed.  A battle broke out at the wedding.  Perseus defeated Phineus by showing his army the head of Medusa.
