It may be the end of a long and tiring battle. Since the day Strez walked in the doors at beechboro he was unhappy. This has grown over time. But what doesn't bring you down makes you stronger, and to a extent it has.
Strez has usually been the sorce of many scandals and contraversies. The latest was today. It all started last Friday when Strez parked his car at the side. After finishing a terible shift with the three dickheads Jamal, Dykes and Beefy, he went to his car only to discover it had been kicked in. A massive dent appear at the back of his car. It's said to have been kicked in because there is no visible signs of any scratches from another car. But who could of done it? Since then Strez has parked his car right at the front of the store in clear view. Malu and Wayne did not mind but Frank was having none of it. Yestoday Strez turned up for his shift at 11 o'clock and parked at the very front as usual. Strez was barely out of his car when Frank comes out the door saying in a patronising voice "MOVE YOUR CAR" "No" Strez replied "Move your car or dont bother coming in" Frank added. Strez tried to explain that Malu had searched all the KFC manuals to see if there was anything stating that he was not allowed to park there. Frank spoke over Strez "MOVE YOUR CAR OR DONT BOTHER COMING INTO WORK!". So that exactly was Strez did. He started up his car and drove away leaving poor Fanchini all by himself.
Today Strez had a long chat with Vianney. He had 4 pages of notes, not just about the parking issue but about all the main problems at Beechboro. Vianney had to listen as Strez controlled the meeting. The discussions included Frank calling in sick for Blurr when she was not, even though she was on till close. Jamal, Dykes and Beefy and their nack for producing the poorest quality of work. And of corse Nigel and his latest antics (read about this in 'The Nigel Effect' section). Not much was solved but Vianney tells Strez he will talk to all of the accused, pfft we'll see about that.
Although this could very well mean the end of Strez and KFC, Strez is in luck. He has been offered a job at Tar Shay. Maybe this is where his true qualities will be aknowledged.
Over all, all of us here at 'Whitesocks' are very proud of Strez for standing up for himself and taking control and trying to set things right. But will it be heard? Will it make an impacted? Only time will tell.
Well the 'Witch' has finally made her departure after 5 years. Although she's still well with in the company. She begins training for Manager this tuesday. Who knowns maybe she will return to Beechboro as manager, even more powerful then ever imagined.
On her last days she worked as kitchen hand. People would laugh at her and call her things like "Suzanne man" because she became a bit of a laughin stock when she was dress as one of the boys at the back.
New that Maccer may have an eye on 'Adam', lets see if that will go any further.
The Nigel Effect is gettin more and more superior, and now has a trait of leaving bang on the dot for finishing time.
Turns out Beechboro is makin all the profits for the other stores to get renovated, and since we are makin such good profit at the moment they've decided not to maess with it and postpon the renovation till july next year, well be dead by then.
Last Tuesday Kfc held a 'Customer Mania' meeting at head office. This is the second year since the whole philosophy came to be. Meant to be held once a year but now being extended to 4 times a year.
As usual there were free drinks apon entry and a bowl of lollies for each table. Everyone was given a special customer mania 2003 activites booklet (see competition page for your chance to win) to fill in during the day. There was your usual bull shit videos that showed American success stories rather than Australian. Also this year they expanded on there prizes, giving out toy cars and small torches along with comments like "The light will help you lead the way".
The climax reached it's peak when it was time for this years 2 'Customer Mania' winners from Beechboro. Vianney's first choice was a very predictable one, The Nigel effect himself. A poor choice as some would agree. Second winner was Andrea B (Blurr).
More borring activities continued as the team stood around in a circle throwing a ball of thread to each other along with what they will try to improve on this year. Blurr threw her end of the thread to the 'Witch' and turned to Strez and said "She should say I'll try be more nicer" but instead the 'Witch' opted for "I'll try be more positive" hmm we'll see.
Strez wrote in big letters 'CONTRADICTION' on the 'How we can work together' page of the booklet seeming as though everything that was written was the complete opposite of what Beechboro's managers and team members produced.
The day ended as it started with a convoy of cars heading back to Kfc Beechboro. Jamal was one of the lucky few to be placed in Strez's car, as many faught over who will be traveling in the bombed out Civic. All the way there and back Jamal showed of his vocal tallents and proudly yelled out how he knew all the words of the songs when no one else did.
Onto random news. As was printed on the 'Latest News' bulletin; the 'Wicked Witch' Suzanne left one of her shift's 2 hours ealry in tear ,Liam and Strez giggled at the sight. Her excuse for this was "I feel sick and when I feel sick I cry" yeh right it's probebly coz of Malu and everyone else finally standing up to her; I believe some of Malu's words where "You better listen to me ok, if you dont want to listen to me you can go out the door" the smartest thing she's said in a long time.
Also it was revieled that Chris Dykes recieved a written warning and was treatend with his job when he gave out free food. Stewy was the second one this week to get a written warning, which is understandable as his work has become very poor.
Former worker 'Lee' aka 'Flee' returned for a visit to Beechboro. It was said that he had alot of suspitious red marks all over his neck, hickies or mysquitoe bites? Most unimpressed was Maccer as it was revieled that the two have been in a relationship ever since his departure.
Also finally departed is Kerri. Some thought the day would never come, but it's fair to say she provided a bit of entertainment. It will be alot quieter now and less bitchier at KFC Beechboro.And just to add, Strez of all people won the employee of the month award this month, what a shock but well done!
