The 'Wicked witch' (suzanne) is just becoming 2 much to handle. Luckily for da majority of people she will be leaving Beechboro to train for manager, another scary thought. But how can a horrible person like that ever hold a title of manager (that's stupid just look at all the other managers). Last night all you ever heard was "Man i wanna punch her" or "Fuck she's pissing me off. Also Kerri made a sudden come back last night although she is still most probably quitting to become a security guard. But back to the wicked witch Suzanne. Last night as she handed her headset ova to Strez, she went off to do her setup, not clean up setup. Strez decided to time her to the dot. As usual she didn't once come to help. It was nearing 9:30 and Strez was getting fed up as he hadn't started his clean up yet and that was his que to leave. "Suzanne take the headset now" "Yeah hang on just 5 more minutes". That of corse panned out to more like 10 minutes. To the exact point in which the headset was handed back over to suzanne, it took a wopping 1 HOUR and 4 MINUTES for her to do her setup, once again not clean up but setup. No fucking wonder she always gets out on time.
Recently Nigel has seemed to be tunring into Malu. He was never exactly the KFC joker - that title was left for people like Strez and Elvis and more recently Liam. However, these days Nigel is contatntly threatening workers with written warnings - acting as though his job is on the line...Roving Reporter thought Nigel was taking things too far but then she had a little chat....
Last night Nigel seemed more fed up with his new role as shift supervisor than usual, unable to control Jamals non stop eating or the team resulting in a HUGE lecture from, frank where he threatened to sack everybody. Nigel seemed worn and pale so Anne confronted him.
"You think its all easy dont you, that im turning into malu, everyone says so but its not like that...for your behaviour tonight, for everyones i will be lectured tomorrow by Vianney. Everything that happens on my shifts goes into a book and then i am examined on it you dont understand the pressure"
"Nigel, i understand but u have to relax more. Have you done anything fun lately??"
His face brightens "Ive got exams coming up!!!" his obvious glee apparent. Nigel has lost his best mate and number 1 supporter shirley and has turned back to anne....he started confiding in her. Kfc official secret gossip - Suzanne is possibly quitting, also when anne was teased about romantic liasions with strez nigel stood up for her by saying "If theres anyone in love with strez its me!" there was shocked silence at nigels openly gay comment. Nigel spent the rest of the shift making stupid jokes and criticising the managers. Jamal asked anne what her clean up was "I have to do front drawers" "And what else" nigel butted in with "And strez!"
Jamal thought this was hillarious showing his level of wit and humour :P
The day that every KFC worker dreades, Mothers day. As usual we were busy as ever. Customers in drive through were parking around the bend and the customers in lobby were lining up all the way out the door. As much as it was stressful it was funny. The front being so crowded that you couldn't help nudging someone in the bum. On top of all that was the equipment and how it all began to fall apart. First was the burger shoot, then was the henny penny door and last was the order computer screens, they just fucked up all together.Considering all the pressure everyone did extremely well. Eventually after about 3 hours it began to die down. Conversations started about the leak of Whitesocks. Chalina's friend who works in another KFC happened to see the site which sparked more fear as this girl works in the same store that Phil the manager works at. What whould happen if it all got out, especially to him. Well all it is really is gossip so they cant do shit. The day went on and everyone managed to stay cheery, even the managers. Later on Ron (the state manager) came in. As always we were told to make everything look tip top. But not only did we have Ron not to upset but we also had another, this one said to be even more higher than Ron, Steve. He looked very incontrol with his crossed arms and head pointed high. Liam and Strez started to feel the pressure, as if every one of their moves was being watched. Steve told someone to go and spray the flies in lobby. Of course Strez was pushed into it while the others whispered "Whatever you do dont upset him".
And then there was the night shift. Malu was the manager and she was up to her usual antics.She stopped cooking chicken at around 7/8 o'clock when it were still very busy with cars parking all the way down Benara rd, naturally they ran out, stupid idiot. Kerri had a sad because Malu favoured Shirley the most and also refussed to lift anything coz of her apparent sore back, but Malu wanted proof "See your own doctor and then we might have to get you to see the KFC doctor" and she was being serious.
And so that was Mothers day for 2003, the busiest day in the year. Why oh why do mothers put their children through all the pain and torture just to celebrate their own existence, how selfish of them.
It's also the last time Shirley will work for KFC. Goodbye lil Shirley, your presents will be missed:(
And just onto random news. As we all know Malu has begun to take her work too far. For trainiees like stewart and the new girl Kylie she gave them rather odd things to help them practice special techniques. Stewart got a bunch of pens wrapped up in a chux to take home to help practice rolling a twister. And Kylie got a pair of tongs to help practice the special art of tonging. Also one night Kerri didn't turn up for her shift and so Malu called stewart to fill in. But poor stewart had no way of getting there. No worries Malu will just send over a taxi to pick him up, and so she did. Two hours later Kerri shows up but is told to go home. Dam it she missed her chance.
