Part of a Map of the Northern Part of the State of New York Amos Lay and Arthur J. Stansbury 1801   Lay published a number of excellent early maps of New York State between 1801 and 1820.
Stansbury went on to write a small book titled Elementary Catechisms of the Constitution of the United States (1828) which was widely used to teach about the basic mechanisms of the United States Constitution and our system of self-government as designed for a free American society.
