Part of a Tourist's Map of the State of New York William Williams 1827   I know nothing of this map or the cartographer.  This is the earliest map that I know of to actually show the hamlet of Union (although a little out of place.)  Note that Delphi Falls is called Franklin although it had been know as Delphi Falls since 1814
