Modern Highway Map of Cazenovia and Vicinity
1970 (courtesy of the Madison County Planning Board)
This map, while a few years old, is an excellent and accurate representation
of the highway systems, water courses, and municipal divisions in the Cazenovia
area. It appears that it was based on a larger map, or series of
maps, created by "NYS-OPC" what ever that is/was. I have used this
map extensively in my research as it shows all maintained roads with names
and indicates their primary or secondary status. I am posting it
as a continuation of the map series that I have already posted, but also
for a reference to some of the papers that I have also posted. Many
of my local history papers make reference to particular features of the
landscape, especially roads or water courses, and this map will be linked
from those references.
