| What was your first solo stand-up gig?
Luckily, neither of us has ever had to go solo! And we hope we never do. What is your worst nightmare as a comic while performing on stage? Has it happened? Our worst nightmare is being heckled by the Devil. Thankfully, it hasn't happened (yet). At what age did you realize you were funny? Why? Tell us the story. Well, we've always been able to make each other laugh, and then we noticed that other people would laugh at (with) us when we "cut loose" after Sunday School. And that's when we knew we had The Gift. Who are your comic influences? What are your comedic influences? Cedric the Entertainer, and also musical groups like The Oak Ridge Boys. Carlos Mencia is our favorite Mexican entertainer, though he's a bit edgy and "out there." What is the worst job you have ever had? One summer we worked at the beach as lifeguard assistants (towels, whistles). And it turned out that on the weekends, sometimes the ladies would remove their tops. Oh boy. What are some of your favorite television shows? Movies? We are big fans of "The Dog Whisperer," though we're worried about who is supplying him with his powers. Our favorite movies include "Cannonball Run" and "Charlotte's Web" (and just about ANYTHING with Robby Benson). What do you hope to gain by becoming the Last Comic Standing? New friends! The power of television is very powerful, and we think that we could literally make hundreds of new friends, especially with the Internet. Most embarrassing moment? Have you recovered? One time, at Jeremiah's cousin Randy's wedding, Gideon slipped and fell into all the butter that was supposed to be used for supper. And Uncle Terry caught the whole thing on his Betamax! Give us your best "knock knock" joke. Knock Knock. Who's there? The Jews. Welcome, friends! What is the worst question you have ever been asked in an interview? "What's so great about rainbows anyway?" |
