| What was your first solo stand-up gig?
I don't remember. But I'm sure it was in a bar and I'm sure I had no business being there and wasn't ready. What is your worst nightmare as a comic while performing on stage? Has it happened? My worst nightmare is that I will get up there and no one will listen. Hasn't happened yet. At what age did you realize you were funny? Why? Tell us the story. I was in first grade and for everything the teacher said I would say something out loud and all the kids would laugh. The teacher hated me, but literally every time I spoke up all the kids would start cracking up. So I just kept doing it my whole life. Who are your comic influences? What are your comedic influences? Harland Williams, Daniel Tosh, Kermit Apio, and Dave Chapelle. What is the worst job you have ever had? I worked at Taco Bell/KFC for one day. What are some of your favorite television shows? "The Office," "Arrested Development," "30 Rock." For movies, any comedy. What do you hope to gain by becoming the Last Comic Standing? I want people that love comedy to think of me. I want people to just love me and what I'm about. Most embarrassing moment? Have you recovered? I opened for a band in Seattle and the audience hated me. They chanted the band's name while I was telling jokes; they heckled so loudly I couldn't even hear myself. I still haven't recovered from that. I don't think I ever will. Give us your best "knock knock" joke. Knock, knock. Who's there? Interrupting rabbit. Interrupting rabbit, who? (While they say that I shake my nose like a rabbit.) What is the worst question you have ever been asked in an interview? Probably what my best knock knock joke is. Also, "How would you determine the velocity of laughter?" I was asked that by Ferne Cotton from Last Comic Standing. |
