Visitors    Since 2000     Light for Life      Foundation     International Launched the Yellow Ribbon Club in Unionville High School, on June 1, 2000. Held the Car Wash 2000 fund-raiser at Centennial Community Center, on July 30, 2000. We raised close to $700! Held multiple events for the annual Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Week (September 17-23, 2000). Raised close to $500! Set up a fund-raising and awareness booth and participated in the parade at the Thornhill Village Festival on September 16, 2000. Set up a fund-raising and awareness booth at the Survivor Anti-Drugs & Violence Conference at Milliken Mills Community Center, on March 27, 2001. Held school presentations on May 29 and May 31, 2001 at the ASE School in Mississauga. Set up a fund-raising and awareness booth at the annual Thornhill Cruisers Show on July, 2001 Held the Car Wash 2001 fund-raiser at Thornhill Community Center, on July 29, 2001. We raised close to $400! Set up a fund-raising and awareness booth and participated in the parade at the Thornhill Village Festival on September 15, 2001. Held a band day and awareness event at Scarborough Town Center, on September 16, 2001. Held a school presentation on October 1, 2001 at The Country Day School. Incorporated the Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program (Ontario Chapter) as a corporation without share capital (ie. not-for-profit) with the Government of Ontario. Letters patent on June 5, 2003.
