Hindu Creation Myth Hindu
First there was nothing but a primaeval flame (Maha Shiv). Shiv then created Vishnu
and instructed him to lie down. From Vishnu's navel a lotus grew. Shiv then
created Brahma and made him sit on the lotus and told him to create the
universe and populate it. He then made Vishnu the preserver of the newly
created universe.
