HOME: Savannas and plains of India, west through Africa
LIFE SPAN: 12 years in the wild, up to 17 years in the zoo
LOOKS: The cheetah weighs up to 100 or more pounds. It's head is small
with tear shaped markings on the face. Cheetah's make odd noises you can
click on the cheetah to hear him.
FOOD: Hoofed animals, rabbits, ostrich and smaller birds. It can run
as fast as 70 miles per hour to catch it's prey.
