4/22/02 I should be home from school in about 2 weeks. Hopefully then I will get some pictures of Me, Myself & I, and Sheridan (the gerbils). Also my pom Dallas is now known as Can Ch. Windmist By Invitation Only, he finished his Canadian championship in 2 weekends (5 shows), finishing with a Best of Breed over a Best in Show winning champion. He should be arriving in the US shortly ;)
3/18/02 Just thought I would update and say I'm alive and well. I should be living in an apartment this fall so my dogs and gerbs will be moving in with me ;) No more of this dorm business for me!! Here is a picture of my new pom, his name is Windmist By Invitation Only aka "Dallas". I will be showing him in the VA area starting this fall. You can read more about him here.
9/10/01 Hello!! I am now at William & Mary. All the gerbils have been placed, except 4. My mom was to look after Ashwin, a white boy, and 3 white girls. However Ashwin passed away a week after I left =( The other 4 are doing fine according to my mom. Thanks to everyone who adopted a gerb!
7/8/01 (And to think I used to hate people with out of date websites ;) I leave for the College of William & Mary this August. The gerbies are slowly being placed in new homes. Please email me if you'd be interested in some nice gerbs, and are willing to drive within 2hrs of DE or meet me somewhere between DE and Williamsburg, VA.
12/31/00 Yes I am still alive... barely ;) Have been killing myself with advanced placement courses, term papers, and obedience training! (For my dog, silly, not me) I do still have gerbs available. Feel free to email me but my email address has changed, it is now devonadair@earthlink.net. I haven't been able to update for like the past year but I have been doing something constructive--taking AP classes. I got 4's and 5's (out of a possible 5... no I am not stupid ;) on all 3 exams last year. I have applied to Princeton, Tufts, Lehigh, Lafayette, Bucknell, William & Mary and Brown. But that means I must find homes for the gerbs since no rodents are allowed in dorms =( (Well even so, they wouldn't let me bring 10 aquariums). Check the updated adoption page for what I have available. The gerbs wish you a happy new year!
10/24/99 Ack don't worry the Clan is all alive & well. However I no longer have time to update as often as I used to since I have a lot of homework, and the time left after that is used for more relaxing pursuits. Unfortunately this site is a lower priority than my schoolwork & time taking care of the gerbils themselves. I'll TRY to update at LEAST once a month, but I don't know if I'll get any more pictures on really soon. It's just too time consuming. I used to spend at least 2 hrs every day taking pictures and updating the site, and I just can't do that anymore. If you're on the Gerbil Mailing List though you can still catch up on the latest news with my bunch =)
I only have two litters nursing right now; one is 4 siamese and 1 dark tailed white from Lilith, the other is one little agouti for Minerva & Zeus. I also have a lot of older pups, in many different colors. I'll try to update the adoption page sometime soon. There are at least a few pups from each of my pairs, even Dana & Fox. There are agoutis, blacks, argentes, lilacs, grey agoutis, a slate spot, ivory cream (spots), ruby eyed white, dark eyed honey, yellow fox, schimmel, champagne, burmese, siamese, and dark tailed white. I have at least one of those, some of them I have more than one. email me if you're interested in some =) I can no longer ship, BTW.
I think Eve, Dana, and possibly Adia and Adair are retired now, as I've only had 2 litters (from Minerva & Lilith) in the past month or so.
8/10/99 My dad FINALLY fixed the disk drive! It only took him 2 whole weeks... Anyway, recently Adia had 3 pups, 2 agouti spot and a lilac, all boys. Then Eve also had a litter of 4, but unfortunately they all died =( Then Lilith had a litter of 5 quite recently. She lost one but the others appear to be 1 siamese, 1 burmese, 1 white and I don't recall what the last one is. Just 5 or 6 days ago Minerva had 7 pups as well, there's an argente, ivory cream, 2 or3 blacks/slates, a black spot, and a grey agouti spot as best I can tell. Sometime soon I'll update the adoption page, add litter pages, etc. but I have guests for the next 5 days and won't have time. Several pups, including Lark, Raine, and Robin went to new homes recently and Emery & Sequoia will be leaving tomorrow.
7/5/99 - I'm baaaaaaaack! Everybody's just fine, thanks to my neighbor Jen. While i was gone, Lilith had pups! And after I updated before leaving, Adair had pups as well =) Due to excessive heat this summer I'm not shipping. I MIGHT ship in the fall, it depends. So for now the pups are only available locally (DE/PA/NJ/MD/NY). I'm willing to drive up to 2 hrs to meet you halfway tho, or you can come here ;) Oh and for anyone who cares, I actually got a *B* on my math final ::thud:: and A's on everything else.
6/20/99 - Hmm only one more final left! I think I did REALLY bad on my math final, which stinks because it's the only one that really mattered! =P Oh well I'm stuck with a C for the year I guess. Yesterday, Atlas, Camille, Mireio and Sterling arrived in their new homes in Ohio. Saffron is going to go to her new home in PA tomorrow =) Also last night, sisters Mary-Eben and Minerva both had 7 pups at the exact same time! Freaky! Both moms & pups are doing well. They're Elan #4 and Kelly-Danziger #2. This may be my last update before I leave on Wednesday. I'll sure miss my gerbies!! Jen, my neighbor, is going to drop by every other day (or maybe every day) to make sure everybody's okay for me. I'll be back on the 3rd. I'm hoping to put Lyric and Myriad together before then. I should be able to tomorrow when Artemis & Celosius leave.
6/15/99 - I've resolved to keep Myriad for my little Lyric =) I hope to put them together before I go away on vacation next Wednesday. Finals start tomorrow but I'm not worried, I've got all A's in all my classes LOL except for math. I need to get a C on my math final so I can get a B for the year (even if I get an A, I'll get a B, I think). Yesterday, Kiara & Fiona as well as 2 white gerbils from school arrived in Wisconsin, and Helga & her family came to pick up Cyprian and Mica. Also yesterday I discovered one of the little siamese girls (Amethyst) has some kind of injury on her, err, underside. It doesn't seem to serious, I just have to put some medication on it, but I think she needs to go to a pet home. I've got her with her little sister Chalcedony at the moment if anyone wants a pet pair of siamese girls, but I could also put her with one of Mary's pups (ivory cream & white are available, Raven & Forest) if you like. Also I heard back from Lisa the other day, she & her gerbs are now safely in North Carolina =) Also Melissa tells me that one of Adair & Danziger's sons paired with one of Lilith's daughters had some siamese, which finally proves they're Cc(h) for sure ;) uhhh what else was I going to say... oh great, I forget! =P
6/8/99 - As you've probably noticed, yesterday I reformatted the Dani Clan ;) I hope you like the new look! I got rid of a few pages that I didn't feel were necessary, hope you don't mind. I think it's easier to navigate this way and seems more organized. Anyway, today I added a new picture of Zues to his page!
6/6/99 - This morning, Adia had her 10th litter!! I don't know if I'll be able to update tomorrow or not, I have a fever tonight so I probably won't feel well tomorrow.
6/4/99 - I would have updated this sooner but a lot has been going on this week. First of all I had this major debate in English class and I had to make 75 notecards for it, write a speech, and such. Second, I got home late one day because my mom's car broke down one day when she was coming to get me after school so we could drive down to the DMV to get my permit. Then the next day we had to drive to the DMV, twice, because I got my glasses before I could finally get my permit! But anyway. Two litters that I wasn't expecting this soon have been born! On the 1st Eve had her ELEVENTH litter! And then this afternoon Lilith had her fifth. Congrats to both! ;) Also I've had a couple cancellations this week so please check out the adoption page to see what's current.
5/31/99 - Today, Beth came by to pick up 6 gerbils: Zebediah & Mackenzie, Pandora, and 3 gerbils from school that I brought home to place. Today I registered Lyric (and some other pups) with the AGS. Lyric's registration name is TDC's Music To My Ears ;) Also, today I added a picture of Dana to her page, and I redid my personal page yesterday. Still working on the new look for the Dani Clan!
5/23/99 - Sunday was Hafwen's birthday =) Friday will be Lilith's. Speaking of Hafwen, tho, she and Linnea had a falling out last week! They were being a bit too nasty to each other so I separated them for 24hrs with a split tank divider... unfortunately they weren't any more pleasent Wednesday night, or Friday when I tried again... so I'm afraid it may be splitsville =6 Also, well over a week ago Odette & Seti went to their new home, I'm delinquent in saying so I'm afraid ;) I'm working on a new layout for this site, it's nearly complete... I don't know when I'll "unveil" it though. I hope you'll like it!
5/14/99 - Happy birthday Vox, Song, & Trust! They turned 1 year old 3 days ago =) Hafwen's birthday is this weekend, on the 23rd. Also, surprise! Dana had 3 babies yesterday morning ;)

5/8/99 - Happy Birthday Gemedet! She's 1 year old, and I'm 16 years old! I added a new pic and finally rearranged her page ;) Today, Mia came by and picked up Demeter and Hyperion. Also, today Aether, Megaera, Gaea, Jaye, and Oliver arrived at their new homes =) BTW you may have noticed that the Breeding Records and Family Tree pages have fallen into disuse... this is because I have a database now on my computer that stores all that data. If you need info on a particular Dani feel free to mail me. Someday I'll redo the Family Tree page a bit. Also, I'm the secretary & of course a member of the American Gerbil Society and all my gerbils are registered through there--yours can be too!
5/3/99 - Mary had pups today! ;) However the page isn't up yet, not til tomorrow, I just don't have enough time, sorry. Today I added a picture of Zeus, my lil cutie, to his page ;)
5/1/99 - New news page! ;) Anyway. Antius, Calliope, Ceres, and Tisiphone arrived at their new home this morning =) I got a surprise yesterday! Eve & Reilly had pups! And this morning when I checked on Lilith, she'd had pups too! Wow! =) Mary is epecting as well; I've cleaned out her cage in anticipation ;) Since I'd have 6 litters to take pics of then, I've decided to do 3 litters one day, 3 the other--so still new pics everyday, just not of every litter =)
