4/29/99 Today, Adair had pups! ;) She was growing large the past few days but I never got around to mentioning it here LOL =) Pikachu and his LCPA girlfriend now live in New Jersey =)
4/25/99 On Friday night I drove down to Lisa's house to get two lt colorpoint agouti girls to be girlfriends for Pikachu & Pan. They're VERY pretty. I added a pic of them on the color spectrum =) Minerva's litter is very nice indeed! I think I'm going to keep a little ivory cream spot boy from it =) Yesterday, Piano, Victory, Ariadne, and Trivia arrived in Wisconsin =) Also really great news, we're organizing an American Gerbil Society! 4/19/99 Yesterday, Mylow & Damini arrived safely at their new home in Idaho =)
4/15/99 Wahoo! Minerva had pups!! The grandparents are thrilled ;) Yesterday, Mylow and Damini departed for their new home =)
4/12/99 Yesterday afternoon, Adia had her EIGHTH litter! =) Also I'm definitely sure now that Minerva is pregnant, probably not with too many tho as she's still (kind of) young. Also today Lilith & Ashwin became grandparents to EIGHT PUPS at Kate's house from Thalia! They will be at least nutmeg and black (their dad is Caspian, a red fox). On Saturday, some of the Danis went to a show. See the pictures to find out how we did =)
4/7/99 Unfortunately, the night of the 5th, around 11pm I went into my room and found Skittish dead =( I have NO idea what happened to him, he was fine and then... =( poor little dude. He was 1 1/2 yrs old. Yesterday, Calantha arrived at her new home in Massachusetts, and today I sent Thea and Prometheus to their new home in Colorado. Also today I added 2 new pics to my spectrum, taken by Julia. (you might recognize the gerbs ;)
3/31/99 Well Lilith had her pups today and so did Eve! However, Eve had 3 and 2 of them died so the 3rd was fostered to Lilith's. They all seem to be doing well otherwise =) Also today from school I brought home Buster, a DTW girl, for spring break (which starts after school tomorrow). A couple days ago, Forte and his nutmeg pied mate arrived in Colorado at Melissa's house, the home of the TigerBryn gerbils =) Over spring vacation I plan to reorganize just a tad. I have to change how I do the family tree etc. because it's getting very large, hard to read, and is kind of a pain to update whenever a litter is born. Also folks, brace yourselves ;) Next year I am taking 3 AP (Advanced Placement, = college level courses) at school and will have a lot of homework and I will probably only be able to take pictures on weekends or days where I have spare time. (but I will still try to update frequently as that doesn't take long! ;) BTW tomorrow is my sister's birthday so, I guess I have to say something... Happy 14th birthday Anneliese you dork! =)
3/29/99 Unfortunately, little Alodius died this afternoon =( In happier news, Lilith is obviously pregnant and due in the next few days, and Eve is "plump" too and due on Thursday!
3/23/99 Wahoo! I passed my driver's ed exam with an 88% and I'm scheduled for driving simulation starting Monday... goodie ;) Anyway today Kerwin and Persephone arrived safely in their new home with Meagan =) For those interested in Alodius' condition... I'm not real sure. He still seems active and curious like before, but his bottom is wet... I'm worried that maybe he's getting some kind of infection or opportunistic thing, since his immune system is probably weak. We'll have to see =(
3/21/99 Today I added more pics of my sweet Zeus and his lovely wife ;) For those of you interested in what's up with Alodius, Adia's wounded pup, he is eating a bit of oatmeal and nibbling on apple today. But, he wasn't too interested in the kitten formula. Also, today Angellyne and Robert came buy and picked up four gerblets: Ganymede, Ares, Aurora, and Vancouver.
3/20/99 Today, Adair had her 3rd litter! I'm not sure if Eve is pregnant or not, but if she is she'll be due on April Fool's day ;).
3/14/99 It's Pi day! ;) And it's snowing! Today a girl and her dad came over and took home Akira & Cygni ;) So now they have a good home! And my big tank is practically empty... poor Iridan's lonesome tho. I'm going to try to put her with another girl. Also today I added a pic of Ashwin to his album and revised & added pics to the color spectrum.
3/10/99Wahoo! Mary had her 2nd litter this morning! Four squeaky pups! Soooo cute. Also, today Zephir, Crescendo, and Symphony left for their new home ;) I also introduced Persephone to Kerwin, and they'll be going to their new home pretty soon as well.
3/6/99 Today Lisa visited from Maryland = ) She dropped off a pretty nutmeg pied girl, Eve & Reilly's granddaughter, who is going to be a mate for one of Melissa P's gerbils at TigerBryn (I'll be shipping them soon). In a few days I'll be sending 3 gerbs (Crescendo & Symphony and Zephir) to Texas. Also when Lisa came over I got a pic of Riven & Adia and Adair & Danziger's grandson "RJ", from Selene & Ulysses. I got some other pics, of a LCPA and a burmese, and I should add them soon ;)
3/2/99 Today I moved the old news to an "old news" page. I also added a few pics of Minerva & Zeus. This weekend I hope to send Julia her 3 gerblets ;) I have about 6 lovable "older" pups (they're 3 mos, and one is 4.5) available, 4 girls and 3 boys, if anybody is looking for pet pairs. They're already segregated so pet pairs would be EASIEST but if you want a breeding pair, I'm willing to try ;) See my adoption page of course!
