"what's life without an occasional surprise?"

I was really curious about this one. The title gave the idea that this would be a 'fun' song, something not very common in the Crow's catalogue.

This was something a little bit new as well for the band. An actual "pop" song complete with "cute" keyboards and deep bass drums. Pure ear candy, and that’s why I like it. If there is ONE negative thing I have to say about this band, is that I admit, their sullenest can be a little too much sometimes. So this was a great change. Here are the Crows just having a good time and having fun.

That song can make me sad, or it can make me happy. Overall, some lines really strike true with me. "What's life without an occasional surprise?" I love how he sings that. And it's so true.
