Well, Speed has had some calendars and I'm sure all of you are aware of them. If not, well, you can check this page out for the pictures from their various calendars.
Right now, these pictures are really low resolution, but I might be able to get bigger ones...you'll have to wait and see! ^_^;
There were three calendars available for 1998.
Information: I'm not sure if this is their first calendar or not. They debuted in 1996 so their is a possibility that they do have a 1997 calendar, but I do not have it. =( Anyway, this calendar is now out-of-print (obviously), but there are still two more months left on it and you can always laminate them and hang them on your walls and ceiling like I have. ^_^; It'll always be 1998 to me as long as I have these hanging...maybe I should take pictures so I can show you my walls and ceiling...it's going to get even more crowded once I get the 1999 calendars! ^_^;
There was also an extra page included that featured pictures when they were being made up by the make-up people. Very nice addition to the calendar...hopefully I'll be able to get a scan of that picture as well.
Information: Well, you say you've stuck all your calendar pages on the wall and or ceiling and you don't want to turn your head away from your desk to see what day it is? Well, invest in the desktop version and you can put it on your desktop next to your computer monitor or any other things. Now you can quickly find out what time it is by just looking on your desk! Of course, there are only 2 more months left on the 1998 calendar, but who cares! ^_^;
Unlike the regular wall version, the desktop version doesn't feature all the behind the scenes pictures from the last page. If you want all the pictures, you'll have to get the regular wall version. Still, it's not bad if you want one calendar on your walls and ceiling and another on your desktop. ^_^;
Yes, I know those pictures are the same as the regular wall version, but those are the same pictures used in the desktop version only the calendar portion of the pictures are on the side of the pictures...I'll try to change the pictures once I get my desktop calendar scanned.
Information: Okay, so you're a huge fan of Speed...no, you're not a fan, you're an otaku! What are you to do? Hmm...let's see, maybe you could buy one of these? Yes, it's a very special life-sized calendar of Speed! Now you can prove your a big Speed fan, by hanging this calendar on your wall and then standing next to it!
The most important difference between this calendar and others obviously is the size, but it also has all 12 months on this one picture. Sure, it kind of sucks only having one picture of Speed for 12 months (more is better...especially when it comes to Speed! ^_^;), but the size of it, makes up for the lack of quantity...heck, I have mine hanging in my room and I only regret that I didn't buy this darn thing when I had the chance back in Dec. '97 - Feb. '98! Luckily, my friend was able to find one still in the box while he was in Japan...I thought I would never be able to find one...
For those of you who have read this far down, I thank you. It's nice to have loyal subjec...err...fans who are more than willing to read through tons and tons of text to find the good stuff. If you haven't already dragged your cursor over the picture of the life-size calendar, do so now and you'll see that you can get a bigger version...though it's still not life-size. ^_^;
There are three calendars available for 1999.
Information: Well, 1999 is almost here and what better way to keep track of each and everyday, then by using the 1999 Speed calendar? Truly it is a must! As you can tell by the pictures, this year's calendar contains a lot of variety... humor, seriousness, and lady-like manners to name a few.
Click on the images for larger versions.
Ah, how nice. They're such lovely young ladies. So civilized. ^_^; Hehehe
ARGH!!! The conspiracy uncovered! Now we know that the real people behind Speed is...Speed! ^_^; Hehehehe...don't mind me, I'm just getting anxious waiting for their third photobook and videos that are coming out soon!
Yes! That's all the pictures I have at the moment! I'd scan my calendar, but the darn thing is HUGE! Not only that, but my scanner is crap anyway...it would be a tragedy for me to scan the calendar using my old scanner. I'm also gettin the other two versions of the 1999 calendar, one of which is the desktop version, so I can probably scan the pictures from that one.
Information: Well, much like the 1998 desktop version, it's only logical to have a desktop version of their 1999 calendar so you can use your wall calendar to hang on your walls and ceiling. ^_^;
Information: Hmm...a deluxe 13 sheet calendar? Could this be a replacement for the life-size calendar from 1998? Hmmm... hehehe...well, we all know what this means...we'll have a picture per month when looking at this calendar! Woohoo!
