This page is setup to give Speed fans special offers. The first special available is the Speed Special that was aired in Japan on July 10, a day before their first movie, Andromedia premiered.
You may have read about the Speed Special that aired on July 10, 1998. It sure sounds like it's something that every Speed fan should watch and guess what, you're right! If you're a Speed fan, you have to watch this special.
Where might you get it, you're asking? Well, you can try searching at your local Japanese video rental store, but chances are they already sent it back to Hobankyo or sold it (I'm not sure exactly what they do with the videos once they get old), so you might just become discouraged, but have no fear, you can get your very own copy of the Speed Special on VHS from me!
"What's the catch?" "Are you selling it for $15?" I know that's what you're thinking and I would probably think the same thing, but guess what, I'm not like that. You won't pay outrageous prices just to get your hands on this wonderful tape. Sure, it's not completely free, but it's darn close.
"Okay, so how cheap is it?" Glad you asked. You just have to spend around $5.55 of your hard-earned money to get the tape!!! Crazy? You betcha, but I just don't feel like ripping off fellow Speed fans.

The price for the Speed Special has changed. Due to the change in prices at the USPS, Priority Mail now costs $3.20. I will also add on the fee for insurance ($.85) because I want to make sure the package does reach you; in the event that it does not, I can file a claim and get money back so I can send you another package. So the total price for folks in the US is $5.55 ($1.50 + $3.20 + $.85).
Other countries will cost more. Please keep this in mind when requesting a copy of the Speed Special. Thank you!
Simple, ne? One last thing, the tape will be recorded in NTSC so you *must* have a VCR that can play NTSC tapes or you have to take it to a company / person that can convert it for you.
Earlier copies of the Speed Special were fuzzy and not-nearly as clear as they could have been, but I now have two HIFI Stereo VCRs, so I can make near-perfect copies of my tape.
You may or may not know about the partnership Tako-chan, owner and webmaster of the Tako Sushi Speed Page, and I have agreed to, but if you haven't already discovered it, you can stop by her page and check out the Speed Specials section! I have included around 400-500 megs worth of videos for my fellow Speed fans to DL. The files are hosted on Tako-chan's server so it's only available when her computer is on. If you can't get a connection, try at a later time.
