This is quite the gorgeous area, I must say. Nicely written with neat mobs and some very interesting points about it. See if you can figure some of them out. :) Here is where the nice cute and cuddly Bulette can be found. Kill it, and you can get the very useful Bulette's carapace shield. Head nw from here, and open northwest, and you will be in Dunhill. Yep, nice large tree. If you are one of those people that are on a quest for the green man and some silly object like a cup of rainwater, he is straight up from here.
BTW, Dorias was kind enough to point out to me that you need the PASSDOOR spell to go up the tree from here. (I usually carry around a darn Millenium with me, so I never notice doors:) ).
Jenova was nice enough to point out to me that you dont actually need passdoor to get up from here, just open the branches. (And yes, you still need fly or climb to go up...) So here he is. All sorts of strange little items for you to buy right here. I have seen quite a few questers asking about little knick knacks that can be found here. Its not an obvious exit (yes, another reason to read room descriptions), but its there. Just head up into the tower. There is a Mob out here in Dunhill that will recharge wands, staves, etc. for you at a stupid cheap price, and there is no danger of destroying the item. Forget his name though... hrm. Anyway, I found him up here in this tower once. Might be worth checking on again. Here is the fun Mob that has the Golden Torque. Handly little item if you ask me. He can be soloed, and he also has an interesting emote about throwing your weapon out the door. (He doesnt actually do it, at least, he's never actually done it to me). But he's here, and he has golden torques, so there you go.
Also, Jenova pointed out again to me that apparently he does throw out shieldbreakers, etc. Though, he has never thrown a clawed weapon out that I can think of... Cute town, mind if I kill some people in it?
