For 37+ years the best music venue in the north bay, and one of the best venues in the entire bay area, I've loved this club for many years...
but the club is closing for seismic upgrades, the last show is 23 Sept 2007, when it re-opens the rent will be too much for the Sweetwater...
many famous artists have played here, this place will be sorely missed by all who've been coming here for years, both artists and music lovers...
the owners are looking for new bar in the Mill Valley area, stay tuned for more info.

Great news, on 01 Oct 2007 the Sweetwater sent me email that said they had found a new home, it's getting help from some investors that want to keep this famous venue alive... it's not open yet, they still have to move many things from the old location to the new club, I'll post news when they open for live music.
