This tour showcases the myriad delights of Bali's heartland. In the stone-carving village of Batubulan we witness the colourful Barong and Kris dances, then drive along winding country roads to some of Bali's most attractive villages: Mas, renowned for fabulous Wood Carvings; Ubud, a balcony of paintings. We'll cool off at the highland village of Sebatu, with a visit to one of Bali's most quiet and picturesque temples with lush water gardens and crystal clear waters, believed to have magical healing powers. Next we ascend to the rim of Batur Volcano for lunch and panoramic vistas of steam vents, a vast lake, and all of south Bali. On the way home, we visit a traditional village at Penglipuran and scenic Keben Temple to see intricate stone carvings and a holy Banyan tree. |
