The Benma 1/2 Ultimate College Football Website was created on 11-14-1998 in order to create a West-coast biased poll to counteract the East-coast bias of the Associated Press Poll and the ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll. I was sick and tired of east-coast schools getting all of the credit when clearly the PAC 10 teams were far superior. Of course, having received a degree from the UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, I would have had to stick to my conference anyway even if I didn't truly believe that PAC 10 teams are far superior to anyone else. It soon became apparent I was going to have to protest ESPN and other biased sources who also think that the best teams in professional sports are also on the east coast. So as a courtesy to the millions of disgruntled west coasters, I have expanded my sports coverage from College Football to include Baseball, Basketball, and Football also with the advent of my new and improved website.
