Happy Trails

The My Little Pony Retirement Community

After wandering through the fields for awhile, you come upon a large white plantation-style house with green shutters and stately pillars. There is a small plaque over the front double doors which reads "My troubles are all over, and I am at home. - From the conclusion of Black Beauty by Anna Sewell." Ponies are playing and relaxing on the surrounding grounds. Wondering just what this building is, you go in.

Right away, another pony hurries up to greet you. She is about the same size as Minty, but she is a pale shade of pinkish-purple, with a lavender mane and white flowers as her symbol. Her mane is rather short, her face is bleached to a ghostly white color, and there is a strange orange stain over her eyes. She sees the surprise in your face and smiles. "What's the matter?" she says good-naturedly. "Never seen a Much-Loved Pony before?"

Not knowing what she means, you shrug, so she explains. "My name is Blossom, and you've just found Happy Trails: The MLP Retirement Community. It's a wonderful little place founded by Minty for all of us less fortunate ponies who haven't had the easiest lives. We're the ponies who would normally be listed as being in poor condition. Here we have a comfortable home. Minty takes us in, fixes us up at the Pony Rehabilitation Center, and gives us back our dignity.

"Thanks to some very generous MLP collectors, Minty has a whole collection of Much-Loved Ponies who are waiting to be fixed up. Unfortunately, since Minty has to put most of her time into her classes at the moment, there's a pretty long line over at the PRC. However, Ponies are usually pretty patient. They know that Minty will get to them all eventually."

Blossom pauses for a moment, then her face lights up as if she's remembered a very important detail. "Oh, you can e-mail Minty at Minty12_MLP@yahoo.com if you have any Much-Loved Ponies you'd like to send to live at Happy Trails. We can't pay much (sometimes only shipping), and there are only a few living spaces open at a time, but we'd love to have more ponies come and join us.

"Now," Blossom says as she turns and motions for you to follow her further into the house, "how would you like to meet a few of the residents of Happpy Trails?"

"That's the list for now," Blossom explains. "But Minty's always working with her Much-Loved Ponies, and every so often we'll get a few more new residents. So visit us again!"
