Notice: As of 1 Jan 2001 Geocities has changed the way Guestbooks

Here's how things need to be done now:

1: Leave SHORT Message - the new Guestbook will allow you to type
in any length message yet will only save the first
256 characters (about 3 lines) - it will discard anything
additional!!! If your message will fit within this limit then
sign the new-style Guestbook.

2: Leave LONGER Message - If you would like to leave a longer message, then you can
send it to me via E-mail and I will post it here.

Hi Joe -
Once again, I really appreciate the work you've done on this site. I wanted to ask you if it's possible (and
safe) to use the resorts' bikes and ride to Port Lucaya to do some shopping (vs. taking a taxi). My
husband and I are going with another couple and while the guys go off and do a fishing charter we'll
probably shop. Thank you for any input!

great information provided. we stayed there last easter break - the place was
mobbed! i would say this is NOT a luxury hotel. the food was "ok", you have to get there on time
to eat. if you get there towards the end of the meal time, the help is already t

Hi!
My sister is getting married at Club Viva Fortuna in mid October this year, there is a group of 10 of us
going for 2 weeks. I think your site is excellent and has a lot more information than the official Club Viva
Fortuna site, we are all looking forward to going. We have managed to get most of the information we
needed. Just need to know - Is it easy to get transportation around the island and to other islands? Is it
expensive?

Just wanted to say that you've done a wonderful job on the site and I'm so very glad I happened upon it today. I will be leaving for my Club Fortuna trip in two days and was feeling hesitant because I did not know much about the resort. After reviewing

My Daughter and Husband are staying at Club Viva next week ,first time in the Bahamas from U.K.,it was a late deal ,so after seeing your info on Viva I am sure they will enjoy it
Is car hire expensive and will a U.K. driving liceince be acceptable ?
What is the cost of a taxi,and is there a reliable firm to use without getting charged over the top!?
Maybe one day I will get to visit !

Thanks for the great information. I agree with others that Club Fortuna doesn't have a great website so all your information was so helpful. My husband and I are going there to celebrate our 1 year anniversary in November. Have you heard anything about
that time of year? Everyone seems to go in the summer months.

Dear Joe, you may have the unofficial Club Fortuna web site, but it's
much
better than any official one I have found.
We went to the club in July of this year and found that it was every
bit as
nice as you portray it. In fact, before I came across your site, we
were
rather apprehensive about traveling to a place we knew so little about.
Thanks to your glowing descriptions, we gained some peace of mind about
our
travel plans.
We don't do much traveling, but if we did a yearly trip, the club would
be on
our repeat list.
Thanks again for all the info. Maybe Club Fortuna should hire you as
its
official webmaster!
