I had not lived right
My cries fall in vain
Where do I run?
As Eve fell
Hold my heart
Take me from my pit
The crucible for silver
All else fails
Do you eat to live, my friend?
Lawless heart, you are your own king
Darkness can never comprehend
Time will not wait
Through thick and thin,
The sky is gloomy and gray
Hiding under the wings
You can tell it’s a lonely song
Heaven singing softly, almost a murmur
Heaven empties, pours it all out,
How easily Heaven forgets woe
Another Psalm
This life given me
The wrongs I have done
Leave me trapped in humanity
For sadness is much to shallow
I cannot grasp my words
For my thoughts come and go
Only to You, my Lord
But I flee when You come
And hide in this world
So has Adam defied
I return to the old
That I have once denied
And change me now
And let me return
To my broken vow
I am lost than I have ever been
Give ear to my words, O Lord
This flawed heart, only You have seen
And the furnace for gold
O Lord you test the heart
Pull me out from the cold
Decision
Nothing will remain
So much for the tales
Of living life to gain
Or live to eat instead?
Broken soul, who can mend?
Blind from silver and gold and bread.
No man is over you
Don’t you feel your broken wings?
Why refuse all that is true?
The freedom light bestows
Reality falls when you reach the end
And regret refusing what you know
Nor will it extend for more
It is for you to decide your fate
Or choose to close the door
For God Not For Man
Though bone and skin;
Blood for brother,
We will not falter;
Break our bones,
Go throw stones;
For God, not for man,
This is where we stand.
When Heaven Sings a Lonely Song
Silence… no words to say...
Ironic peace...
Floodgates open, release.
Of wind while Heaven sings.
With booming voice and might
And forks of blinding light.
When the wind blows not so strong;
And everyone else is by the fire,
Quickly, retreating. To satisfy own desire.
Faint beat of a heart in suffer.
A brief pause of stillness, come.
Then singing again, light beat of the drum.
Ending in one final shout.
Then comes the smile erupting
From the once gloomy gray pouting.
How easily to forgive, to let go...
Only tears in a songs to heal
Then shall the floodgates close, seal.
