Quark bar owner, Deep Space 9 Ferengi Quark is the epitome of the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition. He is out to make a profit any way he can, and has been linked to a long history of illegal gambling, trading, and other mischevious activity on Deep Space 9 for several years. Quark owns a popular bar on the station's promenade which also features a few casino games and holosuites which he rents out to his customers. Quark has employed several people, including at one time his brother Rom and nephew Nog, as well as Rom's wife Leeta. Quark has a love-hate relationship with many of the crew, including Kira, Sisko, and especially Odo.
