Lt. Commander Worf strategic operations officer, Deep Space 9 Klingon Worf is the first Klingon to join Starfleet. He was adopted by human parents and is unlike most others of his species. Worf was assigned to the USS Enterprise under the command of Jean-Luc Picard. Following the destruction of the Enterprise, Worf took some time off but was then assigned to Deep Space 9 to help when the Klingons began fighting Starfleet. Worf married Jadzia Dax while on the station, but she was later killed. Worf left DS9 at the end of the Dominion War to become an Ambassador.
