An unbelievably addictive and entertaining computer game. I probably belong in Simmers Anonymous, but it's too fun for it to be unhealthy... Right?

A godsend for all creative people, whatever your medium. This is such a great thing to see: artists reaching out and helping each other. Awesome. ^_^

Another fantastic thing to see in fandoms of all kinds! Plagiarism protection for fanartist and fanwriters alike. This is the branch that handles everything other than the anime fandoms. You can bet I'm in 100% agreement on this one, folks. Steal my stuff, feel my wrath... and the wrath of so many other people, you'll wish you'd never touched a computer! *snarl*

Here are several dictionaries that I use regularly. A few American-British, English-Gaelic, a slang dictionary, and possibly more.

The Best of British -Originally written by a British bloke for his American friends, this has grown into a phenomenon of a published book. It's fantastic.

The English-to-American Dictionary -Another great source for those needing translations between British and American.

US 2 UK -Good guide to the differences in American and British culture.

ACGA: The Gaelic Language in North America -Fantastic site and organisation for the Gaelic language with loads of great links to explore, too.

The Devil's Dictionary - *HUGE grin*

The Online Dictionary of Playground Slang -Immature as all get out, but damn fun too. Not for kiddies, ironically.

Seriously indespensible, this one. ^_^

Minotaur's Site

A must for all NC-17 slash writers. A gay man who gives good advice, is frank, honest, and open, and wants to give the slash community some aid. How freaking wonderful is that?! This site contains explicit information and imagery, so this links to the warning page. If you're underage, and his warnings and mine aren't enough, it's out of my hands!

I love mythology. I'm rather obsessed, actually. Greek and Irish are my particular favourites.

As this page doesn't relate directly with Harry Potter and his universe, I'm likely to be pickier about what's posted here. (I need some limits, after all.) I'm open to suggestions, and even possible affliates outside of the HP Realm, but I'll be slightly more selective than I would be with other HP sites.
Feel free to owl me with a suggestion though. I promise not to bite you if I don't like it. (Improbable in any case. Chances are, if you visit this site, your tastes probably run paralell to my own.)
