Paxwold
Paxwold

Paxwold is a modern single-storey building on the outskirts of the village of Goodmanham, near Market Weighton. It is suitable for residential holidays - anything from a Brownie Pack Holiday to a Rangers' Sleepover - and training for girls and adults alike. Sleeping accomodation is in comfortable dormitories with bunk beds, and there is a large fully-equipped kitchen with an adjoining dining room, and several other rooms (usually used as training rooms) of different sizes.
The house is situated in pretty countryside and there is a disused railway line nearby, which is safe for walks away from traffic.

It is only a short distance from Market Weighton, not too far away is the historic town of Beverley, and the major city of Hull is only 20 minutes drive and has all the facilities you would expect : swimming pools, ice skating, ten-pin bowling, cinemas and theatres, museums and art galleries, parks and gardens, a lovely marina right in the city centre, lots of shops and of course MacDonalds!
Paxwold is also convenient for day trips to York or the Yorkshire seaside resorts of Scarborough, Bridlington, Withernsea and Hornsea.
