This is my tribute to Dark Angel, one incredibly cool TV show. Thanks for dropping by and come again!
December 10, 2006 - Updated my guestbook archives. Thanks to everyone who left messages!
August 10, 2005 - Jessica Alba plays Sue Storm (aka "Invisible Woman") in the new Fantastic Four movie, which opened in the US on July 8, 2005. Go see the official website at http://www.fantasticfourmovie.com/ for more information. Apparently Jessica's been pretty busy making movies lately! Perhaps because of this, Entertainment Weekly magazine named her as one of the 20 most "hot and happening" stars of 2005 in its annual Must List issue.
March 27, 2005 - Jessica Alba plays Nancy in the new movie Sin City, based on the comic book by Frank Miller. It opens Friday, April 1, 2005. The official site can be found at http://www.sincitythemovie.com/.
July 18, 2004 - Just updating to keep GeoCities from disconnecting my site. No new Dark Angel news to report; it's gone for good. I still get questions about the possibility of the show coming back or being renewed or if they are considering a movie... but the answer is always no. I haven't heard a single thing that makes me believe there are any more Dark Angel projects in the works. Sorry to disappoint you all!
July 15, 2003 - Just a note on guestbook and email policy. I'm happy to try to answer any questions you might have about the show or about my site. However, please send me an email at ebonycat2003@yahoo.com instead of posting the question in the guestbook. Or at least leave your email when you sign the guestbook so I can get in touch with you. I feel bad when I have no way to answer someone's question that was left in my guestbook! In show news, it seems that the DA 2nd season DVDs have been postponed. Amazon.com no longer lists a release date of October 21, 2003, as I reported below. Hopefully there's only a slight delay and they will be out by the end of the year, but who knows.
April 16, 2003 - I have wicked senioritis -- graduation is less than a month away!! So instead of working on my history presentation the other day, I decided that I would create a little webpage tribute to Alias, another of my favorite TV shows. So here's my Alias fan page; it's basically links to my favorite Alias sites. Cool show ... you should check it out sometime.
April 5, 2003 - The second season of Dark Angel will be released on DVD in the US on October 21, 2003. Pre-order it here on Amazon.com. Don't forget the first season, too, available May 20! Also, Jessica Alba's movie The Sleeping Dictionary is available too (released straight to video without a run in theaters).
March 17, 2003 - The anniversary of the show's cancellation is coming up in May, and some fans have started another barcode campaign to bring the show back. See my Save DA page for more info.
January 27, 2003 - Dark Angel is finally being released on DVD in the United States! Look for it on May 20, 2003 in stores or you can pre-order it here on Amazon.com. In other news, Birds of Prey got cancelled.
November 2, 2002 - Just a quick note for fans of the Asha character. She was played by Ashley Scott, who now has a new show called Birds of Prey, which airs on the WB network Wednesdays at 9 PM (8 PM C). It's based on the Batman mythology, and I find it very reminiscent of Dark Angel. So check it out if you have a chance.
August 25, 2002 - Here's a link to one more petition to sign if you haven't already. I haven't updated the site much this summer, mainly because there has been little news since the show's cancellation. Despite diligent fan efforts, it looks unlikely to me that DA will ever return, unfortunately. I have not heard any encouraging news all summer regarding a third season of Dark Angel. In fact, FOX has basically ignored all the fans' efforts and refuses to comment on the show's cancellation. Jessica Alba, Michael Weatherly, and the rest of the cast have moved on to other projects. I do not like to give up, but I feel I have to be realisic here. The best possibility right now may be future DA films. Other than that, we can wait and see how the new FOX dramas fare this fall, and hope for the chance that the show returns as a mid-season replacement. This website will still be here, of course, for you to use in remembering DA's glory days. :)
June 23, 2002 - I'm finally done updating the site for the entire second season! Follow the links for the transcript, quiz, and quotes from the series finale, "Freak Nation". Fly your freak flag with pride and relive the episode!
June 22, 2001 - All the goods for "She Ain't Heavy" and "Love Among the Runes" are now available. A few of you have asked about news regarding a possoble third season of the show, but I have heard no new information at all. The campaigns are still going, though, so don't give up! I have added a couple of additional links where you can show your support for the show on my Save DA page. For up-to-date info, keep checking the various DA forums, such as as Television Without Pity or Fan Forum, and the official website for the campaign, Dark Angel Nation: United We Stand.
June 10, 2002 - How much do you remember about "Dawg Day Afternoon"? Take the quiz and find out! Also, the transcript and quotes for that episode are up too.
June 9, 2002 - More season two pictures of Jessica Alba/Max, Michael Weatherly/Logan and the general cast have been added to the galleries.
June 7, 2002 - All the goodies for "Exposure" and "Hello, Goodbye" are now available here - transcripts, quizzes, quotes.
June 3, 2002 - Due to popular demand, I have added a bunch of pictures of Alec and Zack to my image gallery. Enjoy, ladies! I hope to add more new pics of other cast members soon, so stay tuned.
May 16, 2002 - DARK ANGEL CANCELLED! Get information on how this happened, and how you can help the campaign to save DA - CLICK HERE!
