Gluten-Free Dining in New England

We've had several amazing meals at the Simon Pearce Restaurant at The Mill in Queechee, VT (in the same building as the Simon Pearce Glass shop). They serve out-of-this world GF soups, a delicious lamb burger (ask for it without the bun), a range of exciting salads, and super creme brulee. Our waitress said they keep an extensive list of ingredients and GF recommendations in the kitchen, so just mention you need a GF meal and the knowledgeable staff will steer you toward the best options or arrange to prepare a special meal for you. In addition to delicious food, helpful staff, and great service, we enjoy the beautiful view of waterfalls right below the restaurant terrace and a covered bridge across the way. For hours, menus, and even online reservations, go to the Simon Pearce website. You can even call ahead for special occasions and the staff will help you select a meal just right for your needs and tastes. Simon Pearce has another restaurant in West Chester, PA, which I would imagine has similar Celiac-friendly policies.
