Status (Download or Dont download) Desert Combat Genre: Shooter Game: Battlefield 1942 Review: This has to be one of the greatest mods of all time. In this game, instead of Axis Vs. Allies, its Iraq Vs. USA (aka War On Terror). There are loads of new weapons, such as a better machine gun, a better sniper rifle, a better missile launcher, better exp packs, AND now it has smoke grenades. Also, there are 2 new people to play as. They are Heavy Assault and Special Ops. Also, there are LOADS of new vehicles, such as the new tank, a humvee, a sand buggy, jets, Pickup Trucks w/mounted machine guns, Scud Launchers, a HUMUNGO sized Aircraft Carrier (2X the size of a Royal Caribian Boat), and even a new Amphibious vehicle. There are also LOTS of new levels, such as DC (meaning Desert Combat) Oil Fields, DC Battle of Eastings, DC Lost Village, DC Al Khafji Docks, Inshallah Valley - Flatline|44, DC Basrahs Edge, DC Basrahs Nights, DC No Fly Zone, DC DesertShield (Conquest and Single Player), DC Weapons Bunkers, DC Medina Ridge, DC Urban Siege, DC Operation Bragg, DC Sea Rigs. This is a DEFINATE download. Go to Fileplanet right now and download it (note it will take a couple days cuz you have to download versions 0.1-0.7 in order, and that takes a while).
