In 1988, I met Bro. Mike when my wife brought him to our gym, which was to be the venue for the prayer-meetings of the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI Chapter in Hong Kong. I was then suffering from severe pains due to arthritis. I was also having problems with my business, so my wife asked Bro. Mike to pray over me. When the chapter started its activities, the chapter held its prayer-meetings in the morning. At first, it was all right. But then it created a conflict, because I was a Buddhist and did my "pay san" (a Buddhist prayer) in the morning.

After a while, I gave up the gym because of the high rental. I was upset, for I was broke and had a family to support. All my wife would say was to trust in God and pray, which made me very angry. I did not have anyone to turn to, so I started attending their healing rallies. Praise God, my arthritis was completely healed!

I also got baptized! Since then, I heard Mass every Sunday in a church with a Chinese priest so I could understand the Gospel. I also went to confession and prayed for God's forgiveness, asking Him to change my life for the better. Praise God, after some time, I got a new job as Assistant Manager in a gym in Hong Kong Parkview! Later on, I started my own export business which is now prospering. I have shared this miracle and the Word of God with my family and friends in Taiwan, and even in mainland China, telling them who El Shaddai is. Glory to God!

For years, I was praying to find a nice lady who would be my wife. Praise God, during my stay in Hong Kong, He answered my prayer! He gave me a sweet, young, and beautiful lady, who is a volunteer-worker with the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI. I learned from her the importance of prayer before and after meals, and even at different times of the day. We had the opportunity to stay in London for three months. There, we attended the prayer-meeting of the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI London Chapter every Sunday. I thank God for that wonderful experience. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ!

I belonged to the Lutheran religion since childhood, but for the last few years, I stopped practising my faith. In August 1992, I came to Guam hoping to find a better paying job as a teacher. But things did not turn out as I expected, and I became irritable and short-tempered. When I attended an El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI Life-in-the-Spirit Seminar, I felt the special friendship among the group and my interest in reading the Word of God was rekindled. Although I was a stranger with a different culture and color, I felt that I was always welcome within their group. Since then, the Lord has changed my life. I have learned to accept things as they come. I have forgiven my students and the girl I broke up with. I have also given up drinking. Now, I know that all problems can be overcome through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!

I came from a devoted Roman Catholic family. I had an uncle who was a Bishop in New Brunswick in Canada. As a child, I was well-behaved. I used to go to church and even served as an acolyte for some time. When I turned fifteen, I quitted schooling and going to church. I resorted to smoking, drinking, and using prohibited drugs. Later, I developed an anti-social attitude and hated everybody. My friends influenced me, so I lived like a hippie. I was once jailed for driving under the influence of liquor. My family gave up hope that I would ever change.

One day, as I looked at myself in the mirror, I felt God's presence. I realized I was in a miserable state, so I decided to do something about it. I began to quit my vices and started seeking God's help and guidance. I have undergone treatment for a couple of years. I reconciled with my parents, went to church again, and began to live a new life.

In October 1993, I attended an El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI prayer-meeting with a friend. The following month, I went with the group to Edmonton for a Catholic Life-in-the-Spirit Seminar. I was touched by the Word of God delivered by the preachers. I cried and totally surrendered myself to Him, asking His forgiveness for my shortcomings. I was instantly healed of the knee pains which had been bothering me for some time. It was also then that I met my sister-wife, who was a volunteer-worker of the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI Calgary, Canada Chapter. I am now living in peace and joy. I have learned to love others and share the Word of God. Thank you, El Shaddai, for my deliverance from the bondage of vices. Praise God!

I was once hospitalized for bone cancer. On June 18, 1994, some French prayer-partners, residing in Australia brought me to an El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI prayer-meeting in Hornsby. As the preacher delivered the healing message, he saw me and immediately placed his hand on my head to pray for my healing. After a few minutes, everyone witnessed a great miracle: I started walking, dancing, and jumping! El Shaddai is indeed the God of miracles! When I returned to the hospital for my check-up, my doctor was surprised for the result was negative. Now, I am completely healed! Praise El Shaddai!
