I have often been asked to do a temple. But instead I have
made a tomb for a high official at the ancient Egyptian court. It is based
on the style used during the 19th and 20th dynasties (1300-1100 B.C.).
Maybe the man behind Abu Simbel or the large hypostyle hall in the temple
of Karnak is buried here? Or a general that served under the great military
leader Ramesses II?
I know that it is highly unlikely to find a temple in perfect order after several thousand years. But I thought it would be more fun than to make a ruin. That would be an entirely different challenge though... |

Front view
Professor Kilroy is already inside while the two assistants are unloading the truck. The tomb is built into the cliff. Note the pyramidion on the roof. There are two obelisks in front of the two main pylons. |

Inside the yard
Professor Kilroy is taking a closer look at the sarcophagus. Pete Raq and Ty Nook seems more interested in one of the Anubis'. They are taken directly from 5938. I regret building the temple on a grey baseplate and not several smaller tan baseplates. |

The entrance to the sarcophagus
as seen when entering the tomb. Who know which treasures wait inside? |
