The Betfort Company was one of the first to build a truck with the
engine placed under the cab. This makes the truck lighter and more sturdy.
The downside is that the truck is a little harder to maintain under harsh
conditions. The Adventurers use this truck to transport the big artifacts
from the excavation sites to the museum.
While other nations kept producing 6x4 trucks, the British pioneered the use of 4x4 trucks. The main inspiration for this truck is the Bedfort QLD. But the Albion FT11, Austin K5, Crossley Q, Fordson WOT6, Guy Lizard and Thornycroft Nubian trucks were very similar. The body is a little too small compared to the real truck. |

The spare tire was one of the basic ideas in the design. This part has been rebuilt at least a dozen times. All of my technic pieces has been considered before I decided to put the tire on a technic pin that is sitting in a 2x2 L-shaped brick. To obscure the missing black stripe I then had to add the shovel. |

I really liked the gasoline tank on the 5988 truck and this truck has a similar one. |

Loading and unloading the truck is done by using the ramps. These are stored under the truck body. |
