Assignment 1.1: introduction
Part a: Goed of fout: I live in Barendrecht since 1994.
- I lived in Barendrecht.
- I have lived in Breandrecht.
Part c: underline al the construction with "hav/has + voltooid
deelwoord"
Part d: mark all the "tijds bepalingen" in the sentences that have
"have/has + voltooid deelwoord"
I'm Joop Hogerwerf. Originally I'm teacher of English, but these days I'm
mostly concerned with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for Albeda
College.
I was born in Dirksland (Goeree Overflakkee) in 1962. In 1963 the family (my
father, mother and tiny little me) moved to Rotterdam and I lived in Lombardijen
till I was about 28 years old. I followed the HAVO and Teachers Training College
at which I studied English and Health Education.
In 1985 I got my first job as a teacher of Health Education at a school for
health, welfare, food and social services in Rotterdam. It was a part time job,
but it kept me busy enough. In 1989 I got a full time job teaching English at a
technical college in the North of Rotterdam. There I became chairman of the
personnel committee, coordinator for the non technical subjects and
ICT-coordinator.
I've been fascinated by the possibilities that computers can have for
education for a long time. It grew to be one of my hobbies. Interactive CD-ROMs,
multimedia, internet and e-learning can make studying so much more fun and so
much more effective.
So I was really glad that I was offered the job as e-learning project
counsellor for GSK (Specialised Cooks). I started in February 2001 and have
really enjoyed doing it. As GSK didn't have a teacher of English at that
time, I volunteered to teach those lessons. As a project counsellor I:
- write a lot of reports, minutes, articles and booklets;
- organise and take part in many meetings and courses;
- try to keep up with the technical developments of e-learning software (e.g. N@tschool
and Blackboard)
Last year I also started to work for the ITbrug. Follow the link for more
info.
I work for GSK on Thursdays. The rest of the week I work for the ITbrug of
the ICT academy of Albeda College. There I have even more meetings, more reports
and more distance leaning and e-learning. I'm also the webmaster of the website
of the ITbrug.
Though I work quite a few hours a week, I also try to spend a lot of time
with the family. Yes, I'm married with two children (and to my wife!). Luuk - my
oldest son - is five years old now and Tom is two and a half. Both of them are
real busy bodies and great fun to play with.
My hobbies are building websites, playing the clarinet (also in a wind band),
jogging and playing tennis (in summer) and squash (in winter). Due to lack of
time I spend far too few hours on my hobbies! I haven't played squash for ages,
but intend to pick it up again really soon.
1.2 The Present Perfect tense (voltooid tegenwoordige tijd)
Hoe ziet de present
perfect eruit?
•Altijd een vorm van het werkwoord to
have:
Dus: have of has
Voorbeelden:
I have been
to France
She has seen
a ghost
We have taken
two cakes so far
Gebruik bij:
•Handeling is afgelopen ( net
als in het Nederlands)
•
Handeling duurt voort vanuit het verleden( van
toen naar nu)
Handeling is afgelopen
Voorbeelden
•I have been
to a concert of the Rolling Stones
•I have seen
him
•She has opened
this bottle
•We have travelled
a lot in Spain
Voorbeelden
•I went
to a concert of the Rolling Stones in
1974
•I saw
him yesterday
•She opened
this bottle at midnight
•We travelled
a lot in Spain during our
last holidays
Nu wordt het moeilijk
:
•Handeling duurt voort vanuit het verleden:
•I have been
here since
7 o’clock
•We have lived
here for
twenty years
•I have known
her since she was a baby
Samenvatting:
verder (bij since, for and yet)
