Dramas
The
West Wing
What all really kinda wish the presidency was like.
Gilmore
Girls (more of a Dramedy)
A great new show on the WB that proves what good stuff can come from an
hour of television every week.
The
X-Files
The X-Files has long been one of my favorite shows. While it probably
won't be on more than one more season, It's still pretty riveting, exciting
television.
Felicity
There's more to this show than
proving rather scarily that the Samson & Delilah story is really true
that you lose your strength when you cut your long locks.
Due
South (in syndication on TNT)
I have rediscovered one of my favorite shows from a few years ago, Due
South, which is now in syndication on TNT. I love being able to see
this fantastically written (best in the first two season before that stupid
character change) show about the culture clash between Canadians and Americans.
Both sides were overexaggerations, but it only made it more funny.
Other great dramas on television:
Homicide,
Life on the Street
It's such a shame that's it's over but thank goodness for syndication
and CourtTV.
The
Sopranos a great show with great characters and more depth
than most of the stuff on television.
Dark
Angel Sometimes
the slang is a little silly, but it's a great grrrl power show.
ER--consistently
good with strong characters and great plotlines, though it has gotten
a little silly lately.
Law
& Order--especially old episodes on A&E with the original
cast, the spinoffs are decent too
