Comedies

There are a few shows that usually make me laugh and I try not to miss, though I invariably do.

The Simpsons
My one-show-I-can't-live-without is The Simpsons.

Futurama
Fox's other Matt Groening `toon also makes my weekly list. It helps that it's on right after The Simpsons. It makes the future a very funny, funny place.

King of the Hill
I know that television is currently flooded with cartoons but another one of my favorite shows is Mike Juge's King of the Hill. The trials and tribulation of the Arlenites (or is it Arlenians?) is just fantastic.

Malcolm in the Middle
A great comedy (even if it has real-live people in it).

Will & Grace
Too too funny.

Other great shows I like to watch:
South Park which I definitely don't see as much as I'd like to. There's nothing more exciting than watching foul-mouthed elementary school kids wreak havoc.
Sex in the City
Really, um, risque but it can be so very perfectly hilarious.
Late Night with Conan O'Brien --if I can stay up
The Daily Show --such a funny show, I love Jon Stewart (and loved Craig Kilborn, even in his ESPN days)
The Rosie O'Donnell Show--she's just so genuinely into everything and it's just fun
Ally McBeal--although she is a little too nuts sometimes
Politically Incorrect--it was more true to it's name on Comedy Central, but they've had better guests on ABC
The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. (which would be better characterized as a drama-western-action-adventure-satire-comedy) sadly only in syndication on TNT at absurd hours.
Oh, and I admit it, I occasionally sneak Friends in when time permits.
