Larraq - PK Commando who wounded Aeryn's Paraphoral Nerve.
Leviathan - Race of sentient biomechanoid ships. They are capable of living on their own but they lack the ability to communicate with other beings. To communicate, each Leviathan is equipped with a Pilot, a sentient being capable of interfacing with a Leviathan and speaking with other lifeforms. Pilots are literally attached to thier ships at the hip. A Leviathan's gestational period seems to run approximately one cycle. They are born with a complete library of scientific data. Despite speculation, Leviathans are captured and enslaved by the Peacekeepers and are NOT their creations.
Leviathan Transport Pod - One of three useable ships aboard Moya. While Aeryn's Prowler and Crichton's Farscape 1 are small and cramped, the Pod serves as a roomy all-purpose shuttle. The shuttles are made of biomechanoid material but they aren't sentient, they need a pilot to fly them. They must come in contact with Moya on a regular basis or their systems degrade.
Life Disc - Some species have this object surgically inserted into their abdomen to create a personal Life Link to someone they care for. When the disc no longer functions it means that the Life Force of the other person has terminated.
Life Force - Determines whether the person is still living.
Life Link - The link between two people created by their Life Discs.
Liko - A one-time priest, also a victim of Maldis' powers. Liko and Zhaan, with her spiritual powers, join forces to save Crichton but to do this she will have to rekindle the darkness within her that she thought buried forever.
Litigara - A planet where 90% of the inhabitants are Lawyers.
Living Death - The final stage of Sebacean Heat Delirium. Victims are left in a state of neural shutdown (coma). A state Sebaceans go into if subjected to heat for too long a period. Death is the only release.
Lo'Lann - D'Argo's Sebacean wife. Killed by her brother who framed D'Argo for his crime. Her son was Jothee.
Lomata-Kai - The Acquarians banished Crichton and D'Argo to this prison work camp - they were to work here for 10 cycles.
Lutra Oil - A combination of Cronite and Lutra Oil becomes a highly volatile explosive.
Luxan - A highly war-like race. They are fierce, much-feared warriors known throughout the galaxy for their propensity to conquer anything or anybody in their path. Luxan physiology is such that they can handle short exposure to the vacuum of space. Ka D'Argo is a member.
Luxan Assault Piercer - This vessel was first seen (at least the wreckage of it) in The Flax. As a deep space voyager, D'Argo hoped it would contain map fibers that would lead him home, but he sacrificed his chance to find out in order to save Crichton and Aeryn.

Luxan Hyper Rage - Similar to PMS.
Lyneea - Fostro's mother . As the local Denean astronomer and UFO enthusiast, Lyneea is shocked to finally come face to face with alien life, something she has long searched for.
