Talyn - Name given to a half breed Biomechanoid/warship by Aeryn Sun. Son of Moya.
Tannot Root - A plant harvested on Sykar. Its euphoric effects are used to control/enslave the Sykarians. When processed the root becomes the fuel in PK weaponry. Has deleterious effect on Hynerian physiology making bodily excretions into volatile explosives.
Tardic Set - Tardic is a game played on an illuminated board with stacking clear crystals, which are pushed around the board using a Y-shaped clear rod. The player's hand is placed on a lit orb, which can inflict pain. Holograms appear above the game upon completion of certain moves. Rygel owns a Tardic set in excellent condition and is a master of the game -- and a master of bluffing.
Tavleks - Although pretending to trade, these battle-scarred renegades' real business is kidnapping hostages for ransom.
Temporal Dislocation - Shifting back and forth in time. Crichton became "unstuck" in time when he was exposed to a black hole.
Terran Raa - The Peace Keeper prison to which Moya was transporting the prisoners.
Thermal Storage Casing - Aeryn and Zhaan used this 2' long metal casing as a "message in a bottle" to Crichton, D'Argo and Rygel. This casing is capable of being shot with reasonable accuracy from Moya, and can survive the heat of atmospheric entry.
Throne Sled - Rygel's floating chair.
Tiers - The decks of Moya.
Timbala - The "holy book" of the colonists of Acquara. It was written in ancient Hynerian, which Rygel is able to read, and has been "embellished" upon by the Priestans of Acquara to selfishly gain power. This book also contains star charts, one of which Lashala copied for Crichton.
Tokka Knife - A small, bone knife (about the size and shape of a plastic butter knife) used by young Luxan males in a certain ritual.
Tracer Ship - Staanz's ship.
Trads - Power level in Moya's Transport Pod.
T'raltixx - Member of an unknown species. He is blind but desires light. Had deleterious effect on Moya's crew causing widespread distrust and paranoia.
Translator Microbes - John Crighton got injected with these when he first got on board Moya. They colonize at the base of the brain stem and translate all incoming audio signals to the host's language. They aren't always perfect though. Sometimes they don't pick up certain hard-to-translate words due to the fact that languages don't always match up in meanings of distances, time, even swear words. Transport Pods - see Leviathan Transport Pod.
Trao - A dying race that have many tentacles and four larynxes.
Trat - Swear word as in "It smells like trat".
Trelkez - Multi-headed, bird like creature. Their brains are a delicacy and are eaten raw.
Trellon Oil - A sensual stimulant.
Trents - A measurement of radiation.
Triple Quadra Hent - A game move in Tardic.
Tronkan Shrill Singer - Rygel refers to a two-headed one of these, and compares it to the noise of the Paddac Beacon.
Twinium - Clorium is a radioactively induced isotope of this.
