My Fencing Journal
Day 7
|
Day: 7 Monday 11.26.01 Status: Beginner - 7th Lesson (Happy) Learned: Didn't really learn anything new. Practice: Today I wrote down the footwork. I didn't even mess up once on the footwork today and that's without practicing before class. I believe I'm getting better at it. The practice part wasn't so fun because it was a bit slow. Practiced advance, retreat, parry, riposte, beat, lunge, and remise. Fenced: At the end I fenced aksone, the little girl, and a little boy named Michel. I bet aksone n the girl, but not sure who won between me n the boy. Thoughts: Well this was my second to the last day of fencing lessons. I'm kind of sad because I like fencing and I want to keep on taking lessons. Though I'm also a little happy because I won't feel bad about having Aksone go to fencing lessons with me anymore. I wish I had a car so I could continue to take my lessons. The Davis Fencing Academy is moving to a new facility. I need to ask Simon remember to ask Simon the address and the fastest route there. |
