A Stoat
While I was patrolling with 6 other squirrels, we came across a group of stoats. One of them, the leader challenged the leader of our group to a duel. That was me. I tucked an arrow into my belt in case I lost my sword. Then, I pulled out my short sword and held it up. I let him make the first move. He swung up, down and to the side. He got me in the side. Just a scratch. I faked a jump to the right. He jumped. I ran around him to the back and swung as hard as I could. He shrieked in pain as I got him right in the knee. All his comrades jumped on me. I got one in the air and retreated. I grabbed my bow and arrows as I called out, "Retreat! Get far away from them!" I leaped onto a rock and fired 3 arrows. They were all straight and true. 8 vermin left. I fired 2 more. One killed an unlucky one and injured another. Out of nowhere 6 hares jumped on the vermin, instantly slaying them with their sabres. All of the squirrels and hares got the leader, Bloodclaw. We took him to Salamandastron to be a mountain prisoner.

I set out looking for trouble with a patrol. Soon, we found a deserted camp. We rummaged through their stuff. We found a lone sleeping rat. He looked like he had been drinking and had a hangover. We dragged him back to the mountain. When he came around, we just conked him on the head. When we reached Salamandastron, we locked him in the dungeons. One less rat to worry about!

As I was walkin' down a bally path one sunny spring day I saw three vermin headed towards Salamandastron. A rat, a stoat, and a polecat they were.The polecat was the leader and was telling the other two how they were
going to slip inside the mountain,win Tammo's trust and then they could kill him and have all the food they wanted. I couldn't let that happen so I drew a arrow and slew the rat.The polecat and the stoat turned around drew a ax and a tiny sabre. "It's one 'o' them Salajawhatsit hares! Get 'im Patchfang!" and with that the stoat ran
for me and swung his blade wildly. I hit him over the head with my longbow and knocked him out.I then drew
my longsword and went for the polecat. He turned and ran. Never to walk down that path again.So I picked up
the stoat and brought him to Salamandastron.

As I was patrollin' down the beach one gloomy day I found some type of vermin that had collapsed along the shore. When I tried ta drag him back to Salamandastron he was to heavy.It took Irongrip, Urthfire,Goldenblade and meself ta lift him.When we got him back to the great fire mountain the creature was identified by Lord Tammo as a rare mountain wolf.

When we found this creature he was alone, but wearing a leadership crest, signifying that he had once lead a horde. I guess he had done something terrible to his army, because they had deserted him. He put up a good fight, though. I got a bad scratch on my side and on my arm, but we overcame him and pushed him into the prison.

While patrolling an area, we found an old wandering ferret. He looked pretty weak, and when we tried to capture him he fainted. It was easy to capture him, and we shoved him into his cell.
A small rat

It was a cold day and the night was even worse. Huddled under a fallen birch tree I tried to keep myself warm when I heard somebeast crashing through the forest behind me. I took up bow and arrows and strapped my monstrous broad sword to my back and set off. Upon inspection I found a vermin hoard below me in the valley. I walked over to the rock outcroppings protruding from the hill and undid one end of my bowstring. I loosened and widened it before dropping down around the shoulders of the last vermin marching. He was a small rat and I easily pulled the rope taught and yanked him up. The suddenness of the attack left him no time to shout for help so I took him back to my camp. After two days of trekking we were at the entrance of Salamandastron and the beast was sent down to the dungeons. Once he was questioned we knew the horde was heading for Redwall. A unit was quickly dispatched to take them out before they reached the Abbey.

As I was foragin for the mountain fruit stocks one day when I set my eyes upon the ugliest beast I have ever
seen.It appeared to be a polecat but this particular fellow was not the average size of a polecat. A big looming monster he was. He saw me, took out a warhammer and charged..I launched a arrow at him but I missed. He
knocked away my bow as he closed in on me.I drew my longsword, he tried to break it with his hammer but
not my sword. I kicked him in the stomach but it had no effect whatsoever. Islashed him with my sword across the arm and wounded him. He dropped his warhammer and I took out my bindings, tied him up and dragged him to Salamandastron!

Well, I was wanderin' around Redwall because a dibbun said there were big foxes so I checked it out he was right as I followed the stream's course and eventually found a big cave and I decided if there was a fox I wouldn't kill it so i picked up big stout stick and ran in yelling Eulaliaaaaaaaaaaaa!! and then a blue grey and brown fox jumped me it was a Marlfox so I dealt it a blow with the oak branch then I got up and I sure did deal it justice we were circling around when another Marlfox came and impaled itself upon my unsheathed Knife so then I charged the first one and bashed it over the head and then while he was unconscious I tied him up when he awoke he said he would tell me everything he knew if I didn't kill him so I heard his name was Tagin and he also said that him and his brother were going to take over Redwall but I stopped him an took him back here.
Three vermin

My patrol was coming back from dispelling a horde of vermin in Mossflower woods when we saw six vermin behind a dune looking at Salamandastron. One of my troop picked up his bow, I told him to fire near the vermin but not to hit anything. The vermin jumped up with a start when the arrow hit and were weaponless. We held them at bay with our blades, one tried to take off and was shot down by a stone two others used the diversion to take off. The troop took up after them, the other three were escorted back to Salamandastron. My troop returned saying the vermin ran into a swamp and were done for. The three we had had nothing to say so they were just captured as prisoners.

I was walking along the river when 2 weasels jumped on me. I knocked the first one out with a swift blow to the face and slew the second with my axe. I picked the other one up and brought him back to Salamandastron.
