Play is the Pursuit of the Gods

OK, I run the ASA (go follow the link at the bottom of the page for more info there.) I founded it almost 6 or 7 years ago. The ASA provides high quality high fun text based games to our users - absolutely FREE.

I founded the Atlantien Sim when I founded the ASA, the ASA was originally the Atlantien Sim Association. Rick, the former XO, and I have decided it needs to come back. So I've brought it back (follow the link at the bottom)! It's a universe hopping, time leaping, fantasy/action sim in which the senior characters often become minny GMs ruled by me, the Super GM. At least in theory. I'm getting really organized about this game, and I'm SO excited!!

The Babylon6 RPG wasn't started by me. I joined it just for fun, but then the GM had to quit before the game really got rolling and left the game in my hands. Follow the link to the crappy site I made for it.

I play in three other games: The USS Descent, the Starbase Inferno, and the USS Alliance. All are part of the ASA Katana Fleet. The plot of Katana Fleet is that a Star Fleet Admiral, Omens, has seized power (ala President Clarke in B5) and those three ships are the heart of the rebellion against him. the fleet calls itself "Old Federation Fleet" because they stand for the old ideals of the Federation, not Omens skewed and evil ideals. The Inferno is a star base that was built by a long dead race, assimilated by the borg, and then captured by Star Fleet. It is conscious and that consciousness is an Avatar for the station which has technology far beyond the borg or Star Fleet, but the problem is that the Old Federation Fleet officers living aboard the starbase are so behind the technology it would be like a Guttenberg examining a computer!! The plot of the game is basically the revolution. (And yes, I will soon be making a site for it!)

The USS Dante is another ST pbem that I play. It's not an ASA game but is run by a Katana Fleet member. The ship is an old one, and basically the whole idea is that it's a boneyard for inconvient, undisciplined, or otherwise unwanted officers and noncoms in Star Fleet. I play a transgendered chief of engineering who has quite a way with the ladies, but not the Captain, who is a lady.
