| We are told that the French trains are always on time. Except when there is a strike... and there is one right now. Finaly, after two hours the train for Nevers leave, crowded. I'm tired and hungry. Fortunately we had a lunch and our cards. After winning 2 games of cribbage, and letting Pierre almost win the next one, we arrive. A tall hadsome bearded young man is waiting for us. We almost did not recognized our son!. |

| There are many wonderful sights to visit in Nevers, the duc's palace, the cathedral, Ste Bernadette's body, in a glass coffin. We walked so much I got blisters between my toes! |  |
We leave the next day in our rented Alpha Romeo. Our final destination is still unknown, but we're headed south. Benoit will be coming with us for a week. Our first stop is in Auvergne. |
