RIDING THE G-TRAIN

October 13, 2004 - Sarah Tyrrell announced recently a switch from Hotmail to new Gmail, from Google.com.

"Among other improvements, I get a whopping 1000MB of storage space." said Sarah. For a limited time, Sarah can be contacted at either address, but prefers to use Sarah.Tyrrell@gmail.com

MORE WEDDING EXCITEMENT

September 7, 2004 - Just when you thought the excitement was too much to handle around the Tyrrell household, Peter and long-time soulmate, Samantha Wilson announced recently that they will be tying the proverbial knot in 2005.

"He was so cute" said Sam, while filling-in future sister-in-law, Sarah. "He didn't even remember the walk back from the hike."

Samantha took Peter by complete surprise atop a mountain during some vacation time in Cape Breton. She beat him to the punch, proposing before he had a chance to play out his Christmas plans.

WE MADE IT! (Well, just about...)

September 6, 2004 - Pam and Sarah have only one more mountain to climb in their Cape Breton bike expedition. They are have just picked up lunch to go from ski Cape Smokey and are breezing through what is the fourth of their five-day adventure.

"This has been incredible" said Sarah, while taking in the breath-taking view atop Cape Smokey. "We're living the life, Pam, living the life!"

The two expect to roll back into Charlottetown on Wednesday afternoon.

"BARE BUMMED BANDIT" ON THE LOOSE IN C-DOT

August 25, 2004 - An eye witness reported a random streaking on a main downtown street in Charlottetown this afternoon.

"It just came out of nowhere...I mean, I was just on my way to get a coffee at the Kent Street Tims..y'know, an afternoon pick-me-up," said D-Funk shortly following the public spectacle. "When all of a sudden a very white butt with quite defined tan lines zoomed right by."

The streaking was confirmed when the "bare bummed bandit" turned around to face dozens of gaping bystanders out for their afternoon break.

"It wasn't like this guy was walking, or even running down the street," recalls D-Funk. "It was more of a jostle, a flailing you might say..."

Charlottetown Police Officials have yet to apprehend a suspect but word on the street suggests the incident resulted from a mere $10 bet.

SURPRISE WEEKEND

August 13, 2004 - Mandie Richard and Lori Reindorf made a surprise visit to the island this weekend. A late night decision, Sarah was overjoyed to hear Mandie on the other end of the line of a 2am phone call.

"Why is your bedroom light still on?" said Mandie from just outside of 105 Walthen Drive. Lots of good company was had and memories made.

AMBER'S COMING BACK

August 11, 2004 - GGM's favourite wild child is gearing up for another term on Prince Edward Island. Although her exact position has not yet been officially disclosed, sources close to the wild gal say she will return in September.

"I'm so excited!" said D-Funk at the great news. "Now I don't have to put up with Sarah all by myself..."

ROB & TASHA ARE GETTING MARRIED!

August 4, 2004 - The moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived - Sarah's brother Robert has proposed to long-time girlfriend Tasha Whynott.

Last Monday over a beautiful Prospect Bay sunset, Rob popped the big question. Look for wedding bells next July...

NATAL DAY BIKE TOUR

July 27, 2004 - Pam and Sarah have moved up the date of their bike trip from Charlottetown to Lake Echo. They will be departing the island on Friday, July 30th.

Day 1: Ch'town to Westville, NS
Day 2: Westville to Middle Musquodoboit, NS
Day 3: Middle Musquodoboit to Lake Echo

TO THE TOURIST TRAP

July 25, 2004 - Pam and Sarah took in the scene at Cavendish. After a 63km bike out, we dined at the Subway, cruised the boardwalk and took in some Powerade. The hills were pretty crazy and our max speed hit up to 60.7km/hour.

Four hours and fifty-six minutes and 94.5 kilometers feels pretty good at the end of the day.

CONGRATULATIONS WAYNE & JILL

July 24, 2004 - D-Funk's brother Wayne married long-time girlfriend Jill Hollett today. The whole event went off without a hitch - a testimate to quality planning on their part.

Congratulations to the happy couple - expect pictures on GGM soon.

THEY WANT TO KEEP US!

July 15, 2004 - Denise and Sarah have been offered another full year term with Veterans Affairs Canada. This extension will take them to the 13 of August 2005.

Within minutes, D-Funk told half of the Daniel J. MacDonald building, while Sarah -- although equally delighted -- refrained from yelling from the rooftops.
