Pam and I took the bull by the horns during National Public Service Week and signed up for the best ball golf tournament. Now only did we have some key shots - but our team actually won the competition!! I do have to give credit to the other guys on our team, the did their parts too :-) (L-R: George Lipton, Sarah Tyrrell, Pam Price, Jeff Gallant) |

| These got wacky at VAC-y on the Thursday. We entered a team from Communications and called ourselves "Communications, wha?". Although we failed to win any medals, let alone the overall title, there was some good learning and we are already in training for 2005. The first event was the group chant. You may not be able to make them out, but we attached pictures of all the Comms staff onto ourselves and ran in with some of our print materials (note the Salute! client newspaper props). |

We put out an excellent effort on the chant, nothing to be ashamed of in this department -well above the competition. Except for team "Go-Bo-Mo-Jo". These guys were hilarious - the guy on the left is making rap sounds, while the lady on his left raps. That's right - she's rapping. It was incredible and they deserved the win! |

This was probably our best event. I can't remember now what they called it, but it's like a four-person ski race (on a 2X4 of course). |

| This was a rather tough one too, we had to pass pieces of carpet over our heads and use them to get over the line... |
