Skyline: A helicopter appears over the city.

Plot: Frasier has negotiated a new contract with a pay rise of 8%. He's quite happy with that, but Bebe isn't - she thinks she can get him a rise of 30 - 40%. But to get this rise, Bebe has a plan - and this involves Frasier feigning illness that keeps him home. But KACL know he's faking. And he knows they know. And they know he knows they know.....

Frasier begins to worry as time passes on that the gamble has backfired and he is out of a job. He's not helped by the fact that his things arrive at the apartment and other people are being auditioned for his slot. In order to put his mind at rest, Bebe phones Tom Duran and orders a decision by midnight.

At 11.55pm Tom rings Frasier to say negotiations will begin in the morning. Frasier is delighted, as is Bebe. They open a few bottles of champagne, and eventually one thing leads to another.....as much to his horror next morning, Frasier realises he slept with Bebe. He makes excuses and she leaves, but later Frasier gets a phonecall. Bebe is threatening to jump off a ledge...

Frasier rushes to Tom's office, where Bebe is threatening to kill herself. Frasier goes out to the ledge with her and finds out it is all a publicity stunt - Frasier "saves" Bebe and gets a big raise from KACL and a bigger profile. Frasier is at first appalled by Bebe and her behaviour, but afterwards realises he's glad she's on his side!

It's Maris!!!: Maris is trying to become president of her wine club. She has something that should incriminate her contender - Matthew Pym served domestic Connecticut champagne at his wedding. And she has pictures!!! When she becomes president, Maris finds to her horror that she can't even crush one grape on the stomping vat.
