97 "The Gift Horse"

Skyline: The light at the top of the Space Needle flashes.
Plot: Martin is turning 65, and this means Frasier and Niles have their annual competition of outdoing each other in their presents for Martin. They agree a price limit, but Niles breaks this. Back to the store for an even more expensive gift by Frasier - the presents are getting more and more expensive. Meanwhile Daphne and Sherry and competing against each other whilst organising Martin's party.
Frasier thinks he's bought the ideal present - a big TV system that dominates the apartment. It looks horrible, but Frasier doesn't think Niles will beat it. But Niles has - he's bought Martin's old police hose, Agides.
Martin is thrilled with his present from Niles, but is upset about getting old. A talk between the three occurs, and Niles says his present is also from Frasier. Now Frasier just has to get the TV system out before Martin sees it!!! :-)

It's Maris!!!.....Kiss Of Life: Niles says that the "Haven't Kissed Roz Club of Seattle" now only consists of him and the archbishop. So Roz kisses him. Roz "kisses better than Maris"!!!
Roz loves..... Stan, a stockbroker she recently broke up with. She snogs Frasier in front of Stan to convince him that they're through.
Martin knows..... Ed Flanagan, someone who Martin has no idea who he is, who bought everyone a drink when Duke took Martin out for his birthday.
Trivia: Agides was first mentioned in Ep
