Plot: Frasier is losing interest in everything he and Niles do together, such as their wine clubs. He decides to try other things, such as Martin's poker game that night with Roz, Duke, Frank, Leo and Jimmy (Yes, Roz too!!!). After giving up due to not understanding Duke's rules, Frasier goes with Daphne to an English pub, The Fox & Whistle.

Daphne thinks Frasier will go home soon, but Frasier enjoys it and wants to go again. Daphne is worried and cross - her place where she goes to get away from the Cranes has been invaded by Frasier. Martin suggests she tell him, but when she does it is revealed Daphne has only been going there a month - just 2 more weeks than Frasier has!!!

Frasier and Daphne decide to have a game of darts to see who will be the bar regular. Both do well, but Frasier has started saying a few anti-Brit comments. And everyone else can hear him.....

Subtitles: A Long Time Ago In A Prep School Far, Far Away; So Authentic There Isn't An Ice Cube In The Joint.

It's Maris!!!.....Saddle Up: Niles has bought Maris an antique saddle for her birthday. However her cellulite cream reacts with the saddle and she sticks to it, and only nail varnish can unstick her.

Martin knows..... Jimmy, one of Martin's "poker pals" (though not the Jimmy from Ep 15).

Where Everybody Knows Your Name: Frasier remembers the Cheers bar and his days there.

Trivia: Reappearances of Duke, Frank and Leo, plus the Cafe Nervosa waiter. Mention of Sherry too. We see what young Frasier and Niles were like too - this episode opens with them and flashes forward to the present day, where present Frasier and Niles are having a similar conversation. Roz takes part in Martin's card game and is treated as one of the boys - she even says she fancies Angie Dickenson!!! "If I really had to choose....."
